The goal of this lesson is to create a deep impression concerning 2 matters that are crucial for our experience of God in our daily life:

• We have a human spirit.
• Our spirit is the means for us to contact God.

It is a good idea to first review the verses through which they received the Lord.
Every organ in our body has its function.

• You see with your eyes, you hear with your ears.
• If you try to use your ears to see or your eyes to hear, you will see and hear nothing.

We have an organ with which we can contact God. It is our spirit.

• The function of the human spirit is to contact God.
• We have no other way to contact God.

Jehovah...stretches forth the heavens and lays the foundation of the earth and forms the spirit of man within him.

• God forms the spirit of man within him!

And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

• Human beings have 3 parts.
• The spirit and the soul are separate.
• The soul is the mind, emotion and will.
• When a person dies the spirit and the soul leave the body.
• The spirit is the innermost part of our being.

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truthfulness.

• God is Spirit.
• You need to worship Him in spirit and in truthfulness.
• To worship means to contact.
• You have to contact God with your spirit.

The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.

• The Lord is with our spirit.

The Spirit Himself witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God.

• The Spirit witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God.
• The Spirit is with our spirit.
• It is all a matter of spirit.

But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you.

• When we receive the Lord the Spirit of God comes into our spirit.
