But I have so many questions, about my future and my past,
Of why things went the way they did and what will happen next.
Sometimes I think that I know better and try to live life all alone.
But when I try to find my way I see I’m far from home.
And although often I may try to run away or hide,
You’re always there loving me because You live inside.
Many times the world looks dark, and I feel I need to fight,
But You shine through the darkest day, and show me to the light.
Then other times I think I’m strong and reaching to my peak,
But You are so much stronger, Lord, and show me that I’m weak.
Each day grow more and more in me and reveal Yourself within,
That I, an empty vessel, Lord, could be filled up to the brim.
Make my prayer not be my own, but what is on Your heart,
That You could have Your way in me, and I would never part.
