This is an interesting story but is not told with much spiritual insight. It mainly deals with the outward events of John Newton's life. Thus it is more suited to young person than to an adult.
Like Best: This book clearly shows God's sovereignty over all the events in John Newton's life both before and after he believed in the Lord.
Like Least: It gives little attention to John Newton's life and experiences as a Christian.
